(1) OK, according to the error you got, Grub is not loading. If you are dual booting with Windows, this could be caused by Windows Fast Boot, holding Grub for its own meal, and not sharing with other's.
(2) This could be caused by Grub loader requiring a repair, which can be done, by loading your live USB you used to install Zorin OS with, and running the boot repair.
(3) Its highly important you disable SECURE Boot in the BIOS, as it causes all sorts of issues on Linux.
It is possible that the dbx update has changed your BIOS settings. The BIOS from ACER is somewhat more specialized than others. You can take a look at this thread. Maybe you need to set ubuntu (=Zorin) as trusted and executable.
Is today the first time this happened, but on previous days it started OK?
Just trying to ascertain what event led up to this. e.g. Software Update maybe?
Or is this a fresh clean installation or ZorinOS today?
