My thinkpad middle mouse button is not recognized in Blender

Hello there I'm using the latest version of zorin os.
i switched from windows to zorin os because windows is using a lot of ram and the left over ram is not enough for my projects in blender

i use a external mouse which middle mouse button doesn't work so i use my think pad's middle mouse button in track pad to move around in the blender scene
so please it's very important to me please reply fast

Can you please try installing synaptics from terminal:

sudo apt-get install -y xserver-xorg-input-synaptics

Reboot and test and relay the results.

Also note: Clicking both the right and left mouse buttons at the same time will make Middle Click.
