My Touchpad Scroll is acting weird (Zorin 16 Pro on a windows laptop, full overwrite)

Hello,

I just installed Zorin OS 16 Pro on a Windows 10 laptop and the touchpad 2-finger scroll is funky. It'll work, then stop working after I suspend and wake it back up, then work again after a reboot, then not work again after a suspend. It's driving me nuts to be honest. I messed with the settings, tried a sudo apt synaptics install, nothing seems to work

I saw a similar discussion and followed the solutions mentioned, but it still persists.

Suspend /sleep seems to cause several gnome-apps /extensions to not work properly upon wake. I bet figuring out the cause of this will resolve several threads at once.
