this is actually entirely possible.
The Zorin OS Desktop uses GNOME as a foundation, and most if not all the changes are done using GNOME-Extensions
you can get the Extension Manager app from the software store, and enable/disable certain functions and features, only want the Jiggle-mode close animations but not window moving? no problem!
