Nach Update Fehlermeldung [Translation: Error Message after Update]

Hallo,

nach dem Update bekomme ich immer die folgende Meldung:

„Die Paketoperation ist gescheitert. Das Installieren oder Entfernen eines Softwarepakets ist fehlgeschlagen.“

Wenn ich anschließend noch einmal die Aktualisierungsverwaltung öffne, bekomme ich die Meldung:

„Die Anwendungen auf diesem Rechner sind aktuell.“

Kann mir da jemand weiterhelfen?

after that launch updater app and see if you have the error again

Like the Prompt says, there seem to be an Issue with a Package that doesn't get installed/removed right. Unfortunately there isn't mentioned what specific Package.

Could You please post the whole Output of the Command

sudo apt update && sudo apt upgrade

please? That is the Update Process but in the Terminal. This could offer more detailed Infos.

Also: When that happened, did You received any Kernel Updates before?

Okay, the Ubuntu Pro Note is a bit weird but not for Interest now. The Issue is that the Kernel wants to built for VirtualBox but that doesn't work.

Do You have Secure Boot in BIOS enabled?

You could also uninstall VirtualBox, then make again a sudo apt update && sudo apt upgrade and then install VirtualBox again. You could then download it from the Developers Website:

Choose the Version for Ubuntu 24.04 (this is the Base from Zorin 18).

Okay, then try it with uninstall VirtualBox, use the Command to update the System and then install VirtualBox again.
