Can i get a step by step instruction on mounting network drives on my LAN?
the network drives are on a windows machine.

Auto-mount SMB shares in Nautilus

I see now that the default File Manger is actually Thunar. In Thunar, after initial Browse Network > smb://share and then initially setting the password for the share, I can right click the mounted share under “Network” (left window) and create a shortcut that is then placed under “Places” (left window). The share and saved passwd persists after a reboot. Perfect! This is all I need. Built in. Very nice. Solved!

Yes that's done but I can find the place through a Wine app for instance I wanna save a file direct to the server

i didnt have to go far,Paradoxons entry helped me find where the network drive is(is it mounted idk) and i can get it in my wine apps
