New method to install printer/s?

I am curious to know if this meta package is present in Synaptic Package Manager when installed on Zorin:

Somebody on PCLOS Debian forum has done this to install his Canon Printer in both PCLOS Debian and Q4OS.

I've just been playing with PCLOS Debian Cinnamon Edition, where I installed system-config-printer and gutenprint from Synaptic. With these 2 packages I was able to add my Canon printer using ipp method under 'Networked printer' option.

This is from a fully updated Zorin OS 17.2 Core under Xorg in a VM.

Did it work?

I don't have a printer.
Was just showing what I see in synaptic in my system.
