Newbie from windows, cannot run Anki on Zorin

I have installed Zorin on my laptop.
I went to 'software' in the 'Zorin' menu and searched for, and installed Anki.
It shows (green tick in box) that Anki is installed!!, yet I cannot see it anywhere.
I have spent about 2 days trying to install and run Anki.
I have tryed 'terminal'; I'm out of my depth!
Can anyone help a newbie to run Anki on Zorin please?
I have looked at and tried other 'links', but I am becoming very frustrated!!! Grrrr!!

Have you tried opening the Zorin Menu, then in the Search field type "Anki" to see if it then appears.

Hi, and thanks for your reply.
Since I posted my 'topic', I visited the 'anki manual' at

I worked through its directions on installing.
Ended up following its links; learned a little about 'apt-get', and 'installing' xcb-cursor0, and libxcb-cursor0; I cannot explain clearly as to what I actually did, because i do not understand much. I'm thinking that 'things/files' were missing and what i actually did was to somehow 'download' the files necessary to install Anki. Result is I now have anki 'pinned' to my 'taskbar' (the bar at bottom of my display).
Next step is to see if I can import some anki cards.
Thanks for your reply, but looks like I'm almost there.
Regards
Stephen
