Enabling "Night Ligth" works only on primary Display.
I've got zorin 17.2 Pro with 2 monitors and Radeon RX6600.
Is there any way to activate it on all monitors?
Brave A.I. search engine came back with:
Night Light Not Working on Second Display
Night Light not working on the second display on Ubuntu 22.04 can be a persistent issue, with several potential workarounds suggested by users. One workaround involves switching the secondary monitor to the main display and back in the display settings, which can sometimes resolve the problem. Another method is to use the command killall gsd-color
to restart the color management service, though this can disrupt the GNOME session. Additionally, ensuring that both monitors have color management enabled in the settings can also help. If these solutions do not work, it might be necessary to reinstall or update the NVIDIA drivers, as issues with these can sometimes interfere with Night Light functionality.
Hi, welcome to Zorin OS!
I found this bug report about a similar issue, which suggests this has been going on for a while.
The last comment, however, claims that running this command on a terminal window works the issue:
systemctl --user restart org.gnome.SettingsDaemon.Color.target
Can you give that a try, if the above post doesn't solve it?
