No boot device

Hi, I have an Acer Travelmate P253 M, on which I successfully installed Zorin OS. Unfortunately, after the first reboot following installation, the classic "no boot device" screen appears.

Boots to BIOS after installing Zorin OS

I'm having this same issue after installing Zorin OS on my Acer Aspire laptop to replace Win 10 . I've tried using a USB prepared with Ventoy, following other comments that Balena Etcher wasn't reliable any more, I've tried using boot repair tools but they seem to be running into "NVram locked" and are telling me they can't fix the problem when I set them to it. Are Secure Boot and Fast Boot in BIOS disabled? If Windows is still installed: Is Fast Start-Up in Windows disabled? Does Your BIOs run in UEFI or Legacy Mode? What Tool did You choose to create the bootable USB Stick with Zorin on it?

I put it in UEFI mode and disabled secure boot. Now Zorin starts.
