No profile for Meteor Lake-P HD Audio Controller

Hi.

Cannot get to work audio from a Dell 7350 with Meteor Lake Audio. In Pavucontrol, The only available profile e "Pro Audio" that does not have any speakers available.

firmware-sof-signed is in use so the problem is missing or incomplete UCM profles. Search the web and cannot find solution

Which kernel are you on?

uname -r

Have you tried using snd_hda_intel instead of firmware-sof-signed?

That is pretty new hardware, so you may need the latest available kernel.
If you are not dual booting with Windows OS, then disabling Secure Boot in your BIOS settings is first step, then installing the Mainline installer:

And using it to select the 6.18.7 and then clicking "Install"
Reboot if installed with now errors to test.

I think the only thing I haven't tried is the snd_hda_intel. I tried the kernel, the alternative kernel, etc... And yes it's secure boot (it has to be )

Ok, disabled secure boot and fresh instalation tried mainline kernel 6.18.7-061807-generic

Removed firmware-sof-signed (easier than disabling it in grub)

Still no go. Now in pavucontrol, "no cards available for configuration"
