Been one of those .... Murphy's Law .... well not to bore you with other details except this one .....

Been using Rescuezilla for some 3 years with no problems Backing up Zorin 17.3 and Mint OS's so today I downloaded the new version and installed it on my Ventroy thumb drive installed it like I usually do .... the apt loaded up with the normal screen for Rescuezilla and it went or rather started to go through the language selection when suddenly a message appeared .... You didn't enter the "Magic Word" .... might have been "Magic Number" I don't remember which ..... yea it is been the kind of week ....

Anyone know anything about this garbage ..... I tried Open Sesame .... Ollie Ollie Oxen Free ..... Abra Cadabra and everything in between .... I have no idea ..... HELP ..... LOL

Sounds like file corruption.
Just redownload and replace the .iso.

I believe you are referring to "Invalid magic number' error.

off to re-download the ISO ....

That worked perfectly .... one of the things I like about about Mint OS is that it has a Format apt and a USB Image Writer in the Mail Menu ..... it worked flawlessly ..... decided not to put it on my Ventoy USB this time around ....
