Not sure how to get taskbar back

Is it really so easy to remove the taskbar on Zorin OS Lite? A simple option in its context menu :flushed:? But I'd have done as ian4238 says, if it's impossible to restore the taskbar from its context menu (well, this is clear since you removed the taskbar in which right-clicking ) I'd have suggested accessing the taskbar settings from Zorin Appearance, on Interface section there's Taskbar Settings.

It is easy to do on Zorin OS Lite, but not easy to do by accident.
The steps are to right click the panel (taskbar) > select Panel Preferences > Select the panel you wish to remove > Click the (-) delete icon.

It is not done by right clicking the panel and selecting "remove". Doing that will only remove an expanded separator or other item that is assigned to the panel, the panel itself will remain.
A removed item (including separator) can be re-added if accidentally removed by right clicking the panel (taskbar) > select Panel Preferences > Select the Items tab > Select the item you removed. Move it into position using the up and down arrows.
If it was a separator, you can click the settings icon with the separator highlighted, then click or unclick the option for expand.

Mmmh, I understand that the procedure is as simple as in Core, and not easy to do accidentally as you stated, but how's possible that Wheee removed the desktop after doing such a harmless action?

No idea.

Part of remotely discussing troubleshooting over the internet is having no clue what happened on that computer before a post was made.
The posting member may not always know or remember a significant action.
