Notification source?

Hello, when I click on a desktop notification (for instance "Update available"), it just disappears (although it says 'click notification to launch update').
Software updater doesn't show me anything, so I suspect it's something I installed via terminal.
I seem to have no way of determining the source of that Notification (since the app causing it is not displayed either).
Is there a way of seeing ZorinOS desktop notification with more information maybe?

You mean this Notification Info what is shown on the Top in the Middle? When you go with the Mouse Cursor on it You should get more Details. And the Message appears at the left Side in the Calendar when You click on the Time/Date in the Taskbar.

when you say you click it and it disappears , doesn't it minimise to your taskbar while it's doing it's thing, and you don't notice it ?

Yeah, unfortunately, no additional details are shown when I mouse over, neither in the middle of my desktop nor in the notification list at calendar...
It says 'A new update is available' followed by the stars emoji ( :sparkles: ), but I can't figure out at all which app is doing this.

Nope, no clue on the taskbar when I click. :frowning:

Did you take a Look in the Gnome Software Center? At the top is an Updates Tab.

yes, I had, but no updates were available.
But now an update appeared -- it was GoofCord apparently!
It seems the flatpak version took them longer to release, so the client reported that there's a new version but the software center didn't detect it yet. But now everything is fine, the notification doesn't appear anymore at startup.
