The notifications appear but they don’t play any sound. I’ve checked that they aren’t muted and that the correct audio device is selected, but I can’t get them to work.

Do You mean System Notifications? I think, they don't make a Sound.
Notifications from Teams, Meet and other webs in Chrome.
Also isn't there any option to get system notificación with sound?
Oh, okay. Sorry. A Missunderstanding from my Site. But you have Sound in common, yes? I mean when You play a Video or an Audio File for Example. Or do You have no Sound at all?
