Por experiencia personal nunca instalen fuse, rompe totalmente el sistema y toca volver a reinstalar
Checking the packages, fuse, fuse2, and fuse3 are all available in the repository.
However, they will conflict with each other.
Zorin OS comes with fuse3 already installed; so a user should not need to install fuse.
But if one were to try; I suspect it would remove fuse3 and any dependencies associated with it, in order to install the fuse package - which you experienced catastrophically.
I think that this is a fair point and a hazardous situation. It is one good reason to use the terminal as unlike the GUI, it will at least print a warning.
