não estou conseguindo ocultar a barra de tarefas para que apps ficam em tela cheia.
Right-click on the taskbar to open the settings. Go to tab style and enable panel intellihide.

Acho que só funciona numa configuração da barra de tarefas , estou usando aquela que a barra fica no topo! e não funciona , se mudo pra embaixo ai funciona!
You could try it with this gnome extension:
First install gnome extension manager
sudo apt install gnome-shell-extension-manager
then open it and at tab "browse" search for the extension. Install it and at tab "installed" you can check if it is enabled and make the settings at the cog wheel.
