OpenGL error when using the built in Videos app (Totem)

When i try to read any kind of video file in the Videos app (Totem), i get an error saying OpenGL failed to initialize.
If i start the app with the GDK_GL=gles variable trough the terminal, it works.
How do i fix it so it always works ?

Did you try to switch to XOrg at login?

Totem is dis-continued and not maintained anymore. You might want to try another video player.

Wayland is a likely culprit - I agree with Forpli.

Are you still using Nvidia 4070? Which drivers are you using? Have you installed or upgraded Mesa?

i'm using the proprietary NVIDIA 580 driver, or smth like that
But if Totem is no longer maintained i think I'l just install VLC

Try "Clapper" it's good.

I'm currently on Wayland but i do know that my PC used Xorg by default (maybe because of NVIDIA), i'l try putting it back to Xorg when i'm home.

Using Xorg fixed the issue !
