Opening Libre Office Document from Samba share

Hello everyone,

This is a new issue for me and I'm not sure when it first started to occur;

  • When I double click on a document in my Documents folder (on my PC) it opens in Libre office. Good!
  • When I double click on a document saved on my nas (mounted as a SMB share) I get a spinning hour glass type cursor, but then nothing - Libre Office does not run, and the document does not load. Bad!

Interestingly, I can't open files save on my NAS from within Libre Office either.

I think I have solved this. Somewhere along the lines I had lost the libreoffice-gnome package so I re-installed it and now all is well.
