i know you cant see it but im trying to change the color of my cpu cooler aRGB but it aint doing nothing

On Your Picture is the Mainboard shown, not the actual Cooler. I don't know if CPU Cooler's are actually supported? Did You checked if the Cooler is compatible? How is OpenRGB installed? As Flatpak? You could download from the Website the AppImage or .deb Version to see if it works better:
Alternatively, You could check the Settings in Your BIOS to set up the Colors if Your BIOS offers these.
cpu cooler aRGB often hangs off the motherboard ARGB header, so openrgb talking to the board chip is normal. if the cooler isnt listed under Devices after a rescan, openrgb cant drive it yet.
check:
- OpenRGB â Rescan Devices
- look for your board chip and the cooler itself in the device list
- Supported Devices on openrgb.org for your exact cooler model
if only the motherboard shows up, the cooler is either on a proprietary controller or needs the AppImage/.deb build. name the cooler model and how the ARGB cable is plugged (board header vs usb/hub).
