Panel Indicator in Zorin OS 17.1

There is a "6" indicator associated with the Google icon in the bottom panel.

I think it refers to the number of notifications accummulated in the Google app. Is this correct? If so, where can I read these 6 notifications?

You should see a spot next to the clock, click it.

I am emulating the MacOS desktop. There is no spot next to the clock.
But when I click at the clock, all the notifications are visible and can be cleared too.

I now know where to look for notifications.
