Patching Gnome Shell Vulnerability (CVE-2024-36472)

Hi,

As far as I understand, Gnome Shell versions <= 45.7 are vulnerable to CVE-2024-36472, and Zorin 17 OS uses version 43.9 (at least my install is using this version).

I've had a scan of the Gnome Shell articles in this forum but cannot find anything definitive to confirm whether or not it's possible to update to a more recent version of Gnome Shell.

How can I update Gnome Shell to version > 45.7 to patch this vulnerability? Or is it possible to patch it another way?

Update to Version 45.7 or higher ist not possible. Zorin is a LTS Distro Model. Because it is a Security Issue there should come an Update from Zorin to fix it.
