hi everyone ! i am very new to zorin os, just installed today on my just gotten but used thinkpad t14 gen2. when i tried to set up my graphic tablet, an xppen artist 13 gen 2, i realized the os did not read the pen pressure from my pen, nor did it read the updates to the keys i made. im not sure at all how to fix this? my friend sent me some links from the forums and it seems other people have this problem too. i am currently on zorin 18.1 . is this issue fixable with perhaps an update i am not aware of? or would i have to downgrade to zorin 17 to fix this?...
Welcome to the Forum!
Let me ask some Questions:
- Are Secure Boot and Fast Boot in BIOS disabled?
- If Windows is still installed: Is Fast Start-Up in Windows disabled?
- Has the Device Nvidia or AMD Graphics?
- Does the System run in Wayland or X11? You can check that with the Terminal Command
echo $XDG_SESSION_TYPE
hi!
- secure boot is disabled, fast boot is enabled
- windows is no longer installed
- Intel® Iris® Xe Graphics (TGL GT2)
- system runs on wayland
right after i wrote this reply my tablet and the pen pressure and just everything involving it in general began to work... thanks for the help! hope you have a great day
