I switched the Category to Feedback becuse it seems to adress this better.
This is a graphical Kernel Management Tool. I think it is a good Idea to have something like this because it can make the Installation of a different Kernel easier - especially for new Users - when there is a graphical Interface for it.
Linux Mint has it integrated in their Software Updater what I would find a nice Idea, too. As a graphical Interface for using universal, there would only be the Mainline Tool. But having a Zorin-own Solution as a Boardtool would serve well I think.
Some distributions also offer GUIs which run helper scripts to install other kernels, as e.g. liquorix. I find it a nice feature which makes it easier for new users.
I read something recently elsewhere that it is sometimes better to have GA kernels available alongside HWE ones in case of issues.
