Photo Problem

This is my week for screw-ups .... I tried copying some photos from the net this morning and just discovered when I went to view them .... up in the left hand conor of the photo this appeares ( see photo ) ...

I was going to try and find what the problem is online but I have no idea what this messge or the proper term for it is called ..... the program I am using for my photos is XnView MP ....

I have never had this problem until today and it is on ALL my photos even those taken weeks ago .... I'm sure it must be a setting in the program but as I have no idea what to search for I'm at a complete stand still .... I have had no recient updates for XnView .... I did however have a new kernal update to 6.8.0-110.110 and a xdg-dbus-proxy update this morning .... don't think these would cause it though ....

Well that's wierd it doesn't show up when I copied the picture and posted it here so I took a photo of it with my phone ....

With Irfanview (XNView), that is an information overlay, probably toggled to on by mistake.
In your Photo Viewer, under view do you see an option for "Show Information"? If so disable it.
The docs say that it toggles with the i key.

You sir are correct ... thank you .... I was doing something yesterday involving what I thought was the I key when they ment small L .... if that confused you I know the feeling I'm confussed too ..... that will teach me to try something new .... LOL
