It is a stand-alone application, so you can put it anywhere you like. Double click the Pong.x86_64 file to run it.

Maybe the devs instructions are not clear.
Looking here:
https://github.com/MiMGell/PongGame

It looks like more installation is necessary...

Here, it says:

Linux : just unzip the zip file then run the "Pong.x86_64" file, and if there is premission error just right click the "Pong.x86_64" file and allow this file to run as executeable.

I downloaded it and tried it only to get the same result that you did.

Phew ..... for a moment I thought I almost made a mistake .....

Thanks for checking that out .... to bad it doesn't work ..... I was hoping ....

Ocka had some good leads on some different ones but I can't get them to work either ..... it's a conspiracy I tell you a conspiracy ..... :grinning:

The pong game that we tried was updated within the last two weeks. Why not make a note to the dev on github to let him know his instructions are not working?

I found a game called BasicPingPong .... on YouTube ......

But for me the control buttons are not positioned right and very hard to use on my mini keyboard ..... left played uses W & S while right player uses UP & DOWN arrows ....

they are just way to close for me to use my fat fingers ...... but I'll keep looking .....

Be better for 2 player I would imagine ....

What about using Stella (Atari emulator)?

Interesting idea ..... I read up on it a bit from the Stella website ..... and downloaded the Ubuntu 20.04 .deb version also saved the web site to favorites ..... so as I get some free time I'll go exploring .....

Thanks .... :+1:
