Possible to auto-login for unattended remote access

I have Zorin 17.2 Core. I have a pc on my home network that I want to connect to remotely. I've learned to do that with share desktop.

Now for the tricky part. For unattended access, I'd like the computer to boot up without requiring a password (remember: home network=limited access). Or is there some way to trigger remote connection before needing to enter the password? That would be sweet.

I want to avoid having to physically access the computer every time it has to reboot.

I'm a newbie to Linux, so help me gently...

If i'm understanding right, you should just be able to go into your Settings -> Users and enable the Automatic Login under your account to have the user be logged in automatically:

Thank you.

I forgot to mention that I have done that. However, for some reason, I am still asked to log in when I reboot.

I also followed a suggestion to do the following:

sudo nano /etc/gdm3/custom.conf
remove the comment (#)

Since I didn't see a comment, I'm not sure what to do. Looks like the autologin should work...

Here is the content of my custom.conf:

Remove the # part from "enabling automatic login", save and reboot.

I've moved this to General Help and marked @Ponce-De-Leon's answer as the solution.
