Power Management, Zorin complete shut down

Hello everyone,

first of all, I want to thank the developers for such a wonderful OS. I am really satisfied and pleased to work with such an easy and powerful OS.

To my questions.
1.) Is there a way to completely shut Zorin down because as soon as I press any button on the keyboard or even slightly move the mouse Zorin boots.
2.) When shutting down Zorin, my gaming keyboard still shines and glows because of the USB input. Can I somehow deactivate the power output from USB ports when I shut Zorin down? My mouse and keyboard is glowing 24/7.

My hardware:
Deskmini 310 + Intel I5
500gb SSD

Thanks for your help.

Hi, hakido.

  1. I recommend poweroff but there are others: https://vitux.com/how-to-shut-down-ubuntu/
  2. Are you using Core or Lite? I use the former and that doesn’t happen to me. You could try the suggestions here:
