Hi, when I right click and quickly hover over the options, it acts like I pressed the option I hovered over even if I didn't press it. How can I solve this problem, it is like this in general on my whole system, not specific to any application.
I tested the automatic click feature (that's on Settings > Accessibility > Click Assistant) and it does what you said, did you enable it?
no i did not enable it
Alright, that was my assumption of the moment , in fact if you were using that feature you'd have seen an animation indicating that an automatic click was about to be performed. You didn't specify it but I suggested it anyway thinking that if in fact you were actually seeing it and told me so the thing would be fixed by now . Then it could very well be a hardware problem, it could be misplaced buttons within the mouse itself. If you can you can try plugging the mouse into another USB port (or even another computer if possible), another mouse to see if the same thing happens or open it up to see if everything is fine. Don't worry, I've opened a few mice, it wasn't difficult to either open them and to put them back together (you can even click the 2 click buttons directly while it's open to see if the clicks are performed as they should) and I haven't experienced any electric shock yet (the voltage is very low and there shouldn't be any risk, unless you have wet/alloyed hands or touch with conductive objects, that would be crazy ). That done, if you keep getting secondary clicks it could be a problem that I honestly don't know about from personal experience, maybe a peripheral input/output configuration file duplicating certain inputs.
