I was looking in the Software Manager and came across Privacy Browser by Soren Stoutner, I am familiar with this browser on Android so I installed it. This is a Zorin OS Apt package, it does not launch. I uninstalled and reinstalled with the same response, it does not launch, so I thought I would inform the Zorin team about what seems to be a broken package.

Go there and download and install the last deb privacybrowser_0.9-1_amd64.deb
1.That does not fix a broken Zorin OS Apt package from the Software Manager.
2.Yes it's a solution to obtaining and installing this browser
It's not a broken package, it's an old package and Zorin can't change that because of ubuntu.
We are here to help, and when you receive some help and answers don't answer like that, especially when you don't know what you're talking about
Did You tried to install it via Terminal to check the Output if it offers additional Informations?
I tested the installation in a Zorin 18.1 Core live session (installed via terminal sudo apt install privacybrowser), there were shown no errors during installation, but the browser didn't launch.
When launched via terminal it showed a segmentation fault.
I found no sites that this bug was solved in version 0.5 which Zorin18/Ubuntu 24.04 uses, only in higher ubuntu versions (in 25.04 plucky puffin). The .deb file from the browser seem to work without problems.
In my test, the installation of the latest 0.9 version of the browser didn´t work because of missing dependencies, also not 0.8 and 0.7, but with 0.62 it did work.

@Nourpon hey, let's not get over-heated when @Nirozzz was pointing out an issue when he did not know it was an Ubuntu (Canonical) issue. I believe he was trying to raise the issue, and a valid one at that, to let Team Zorin be aware of the issue.
When you find a package available in Software, instalk it and it doesn't work then usually it is good to raise issues like this so that the team is aware.
I have stated many times my preference for APT packaging over others, like Flatpak (which sadly, Zorin appears to be pushing forward with, in much the same way that Ubuntu is blatantly pushing its Snap packages over APT) and my unheard voice requesting Zorin to move to a Debian base.
Sticking with Ubuntu is a bad move, particularly with the adoption of Rust in 26.04 which will impact on Zorin 19.
Telling relatively new users off for "not knowing what they are talking about" doesn't give a welcoming approach.
