Translation:
I work in a school, teachers use a computer and a projector connected to this pc via HDMI, the computer operating system is Zorin OS, there is a problem that every time the computer is turned on, Zorin os displays the video only on the projector and only after logging in with the user is the option to mirror screen released, the projector is connected via HDMI and the computer monitor via VGA, the computer monitor is set as the primary monitor, but even so zorin prioritizes them to the HDMI input and displays video only on the projector as long as it does not unlock the screen with a user's login. How to solve it?
In short, I want zorin to always turn them on by mirroring the screen on the projector and monitor.
Note that in windows I don't have this problem, when turning on the windows computer, it already keeps both screens duplicated, this silly problem with zorin os is preventing me from migrating all computers to linux
Response:
Welcome to the forum! So I've had a very similar issue to this, but I run a 3 monitor setup (quite the frustration). The fact that this still isn't addressed in Gnome is astonishing to me, and I think should be put SOMEWHERE in the display settings as to toggle the default login monitor.
Gripes aside, this is the solution that has worked for me:
Display Login Screen in External Monitor in Ubuntu 22.04 | 24.04 | UbuntuHandbook
However, if you try to google, you'll see this has been an issue since, well frankly, forever.
Hopefully you can give this a try and it'll get your problem fixed.
