Problems in tablet

I have an x86 tablet, on which I installed the latest version of ZorinOS 17.3. It runs better than 16, wayland is much better than x11, and it also solves many problems that existed in 16 before (such as touch screen and sound). But there are still a few problems when I use it, and I hope the team can solve it in future versions.

  1. The buttons of the touch keyboard are too small, which makes it very inconvenient to use on a tablet.

  2. Zorin17 does not seem to recognize the long press operation of the touch screen. When I use long press, it cannot pop up the right-click menu, which is not a problem with Zorin16. Of course, there is another problem with multi-finger operation, which would be better if it could be adapted

  3. There is no "Software Store" in "Show Applications". I have to find and open it in the search bar every time. I think this should be a bug

  4. When I enable "Keep the original gnome-shell top panel", even if I choose to hide "left box" and "Activities", it will still be displayed in the top panel

I'm pretty sure their are alternative OSK's via the software store, I'm not too sure why the software store doesn't show that way however you could try pinning it to dash or desktop to help.

Either way I don't have a touchscreen device that can run Zorin for me to try it out on and try help

For more gestures you can install gnome tweaks and gnome extension manager.
Then add gnome extension "gesture-improvements"

I tried it, it shows unsupported, but it works. That's OK.

I have pinned it to the taskbar, but i means the key buttons are smaller.

However, I found and changed to the Third-party OSK.

Yipee!!!
Ahh trade offs, each device will have its own display and aspect ratio so its quite a challenge designing OSK's to fit those needs.
