I'm using Vivaldi browser installed through the Software app in Zorin. I guess that means I installed it with flatpack? I created a bunch of PWA's (Outlook, Teams, Figma) and they're not showing up as independent apps with icons in the dash that I can pin. They're still considered windows within Vivaldi by the OS (Vivaldi itself sees them as PWA's).
I tried to search for this and somewhere someone mentioned having this problem on Zorin with Microsoft Edge and PWA's. It seemed to be about if the browser is installed as a flatpack through "Software" then the PWA's don't get registred -- or something? Does anyone recognise this or know more?
I can report that installing the *.deb package solved the issue
There is still a small quirk, but one I'm happy to live with:
Once you create the PWA, nothings happens (re icon in the dash/dock). But if you do a Zorin search and type the first letters of the app to filter for it, it appears with an icon in the search. When you press enter a new PWA window is opened and the icon is following along, showing up in the dock, and you can pin it.
