I'm trying out Zorin 16 Core x64.
I want to install some windows apps (specifically office and acrobat pro), and as per the documentation, amusing the "Open with Install Windows Application" procedure.
Everything proceeds as expected, until the installer reaches the end and produces an error "Setup Interrupted," after which the install fails.
I receive a similar error for both a MS Office 2010 Plus x65 bit install and an Acrobat Pro 32bit install.
Syslog has a bunch of install errors, (it's wine, so that's to be expected), but the critical ones seems to be:
Sep 22 18:52:19 Shodan org.gnome.Nautilus[13721]: 01ca:err:winediag:SECUR32_initNTLMSP ntlm_auth was not found or is outdated. Make sure that ntlm_auth >= 3.0.25 is in your path. Usually, you can find it in the winbind package of your distribution.
Sep 22 18:45:29 Shodan org.gnome.Nautilus[2115]: message repeated 43 times: [ 0032:err:mscoree:LoadLibraryShim error reading registry key for installroot]
Can anyone shed some light on these errors logged by wine?
Thanks in advance,
John N.
