I recently upgraded from Zorin 17 Pro to Zorin 18 Pro.
I had to do a clean install rather than using the upgrade app because I'd previously installed Pipewire and that prevented the upgrade option.
Anyway, I had to reinstall all my previously well behaving software including QCad.
I have subsequently done the Zorin 18.1 Pro upgrade only to find that QCad can now no longer see my two network printers and only offers me a print to file PDF options.
I've been through all the various CUPS refresh options in the various Zorin and QCad forum posts to no avail.
I didn't use QCad in the period between installing Zorin 18.0 Pro and Zorin 18.1 Pro so I don't know whether the issue spanned both OS versions/
If you installed the flatpak version, you need to setup Qcad permission to see outside the flatpak sandbox. You can do that with the app called: flatseal.

Does Your System run in Wayland or X11? You can check that with the Terminal Command echo $XDG_SESSION_TYPE
When it should show Wayland, You could try it with switching to X11/Xorg. To do that, go to the Login Screen. Click there on Your Profile so that the Password Field appears. When it is appeared, You should see a Gear Icon in the bottom right Corner. Click on it and choose the Option ''Zorin Desktop on Xorg'' and log in.
Also: Are Secure Boot and Fast Boot in BIOS disabled?
Since the first two responses (Thanks, by the way) I've uninstalled QCad and reinstalled three times. Flatpak version, Qt6 version and Qt5 version.
All exhibited the same lack of printer problem.
I am running with Wayland but switching to X11/XOrg has no impact.
Secure Boot and Fast Boot are both disabled in BIOS.
Interestingly I have just run a live version of Fedora 44 Workstation (i.e. Gnome 50) and installed the Qt6 version of QCad and it ran absolutely fine, seeing both my real printers and offering PDF as well.
Hmm ... Fedora is a more up-to-date Distro. Maybe there are some Packages or Dependencies with a more up-to-date Version that make it run.
Could You try it with Debian 13, too?
I've just run a Live version of Debian 13 , downloaded and installed QCad and everything functions OK.
I'm not quite sure how these forum sites function, but after my post above about successfully trying QCad within a Debian 13 live system, somebody posted a very comprehensive reaction with a whole host of useful comments and suggestions.
That post has been since been deleted. Presumably by the poster. I didn't make a note of their name.
In any case, I did manage to remember some of the points.
I am able access all my physical printers from LibreOffice (and other office suites), and simple text editors.
The image below is a screen capture of the QCad download files that I installed from. Flatpak and various flavours of Qt based"Linux Installers". They needed to be flagged as executable with file properties and then "Right clicked" run as executable.
