Hi all,
I have a question. My wife told me one day she booted up her notebook (my old Acer Predator G9-793-71SJ unit) and the keyboard did not work when she saw the login screen. I tried to replicate this issue and i found the problem.
During boot i spammed the key "Del", normally when you do this on this machine you get the screen that allows you to boot into linux recovery. But sometimes this screen does not appear. During the boot i see in the top left corner some weird signs (^[[3~^[[3~^[[3~^[[3~) then a black screen comes and then the login screen. When you want to enter the password the keyboard does not respond to any keys. So i have to reboot in order to get the keyboaard to work again.
Now i am thinking this is a bug, i tried this a few times and always get the same results. I get the screen to select the os/recover or i get the bug that i don't get that screen but get those markings in top left corner. With the last one i get the keyboard problems not responding.
Can someone tell me if this can be fixed?
