All, I’m ready to get a touchscreen researching what distro will work out of the box. I support Zorin so want to get a straight answer here.
I’m looking specifically at Amazon.com: HP Pavilion 15.6" HD Touchscreen Anti-Glare Laptop, 16GB RAM, 1TB SSD Storage, Intel Core Processor up to 4.1GHz, Up to 11 Hours Long Battery Life, Type-C, HDMI, Windows 11 Home, Silver : Electronics
I need it to completely “just work”
Thanks
This is a strong qualifier.
Touchscreen support on GnuLinux broadly is eh... touch and go...
IF that is your primary goal, then a later release distro would serve better, like Fedora.
Zorin OS is a rugged and stable operating system; but hardware manufacturers are stingy with drivers.

If you can spare the extra money to buy a dedicated Linux Notebook:
"Several dedicated Linux laptop manufacturers offer models with touchscreen functionality that works out of the box. System76 laptops, such as the Lemur Pro and Oryx Pro, ship with Pop!_OS preinstalled and are noted for their excellent out-of-the-box Linux experience, including touchscreen support. The Tuxedo InfinityBook Pro 14, based on Ubuntu, is another example of a laptop with strong Linux support, including a high-resolution touchscreen that functions well right after setup. Lenovo's ThinkPad X1 Carbon, particularly the Linux edition, is also highlighted as a premium option with touchscreen capability that works out of the box, especially when paired with Linux distributions like Ubuntu. These manufacturers are recognized for their commitment to Linux compatibility and provide reliable touchscreen functionality without requiring additional configuration."
You could also take a look/contact the suppliers that Zorin promotes too:
I agree with others, a touch screen is not the way to go with Linux. You really don't need a touch screen either, a keyboard and trackpad/external mouse, is plenty good enough.
For maximum compatibility, please consider Star Labs computers, specifically the Star Book's, which are their affordable normal notebooks.
Use the configurator...
(1) Choose standard, you don't need ULTRA category.
(2) Choose your keyboard language.
(3) 16GB is enough RAM, you don't need more.
(4) 512GB Storage is plenty for Internet usage, consider 1TB, if you are gaming, or doing production workloads.
(5) Choose Zorin OS 17.3 for Operating System.
(6) Choose your Country's Power Adapter.
(7) I would recommend getting the recovery drive, if you break your OS, you will be thankful you got it!
