Hi to everyone. Curious - does anyone have any recommended extensions for Zorin OS via the Extension Manager? Right now, the only one I have is Caffeine to help with full-screen gaming. That's it. Are there other extensions everyone uses to help enhance their Zorin OS experience? Would appreciate feedback. Thanks.
Well, when You like to have a bit more Customization Options for the Taskbar and the startmenu, I cann recommend Dash To Panel as Taskbar and Arcmenu as Startmenu.
Or if You want a more clean Desktop and only using the Gnome Top Bar but You want App Icons there, I cann name App Icons Taskbar.
What I have at the Moment installed, are:
- Add To Desktop
- Alphabetical App Grid
- ArcMenu
- Date Menu Formatter
- Favourites in App Grid
- Overview Background
- Quick Settings Tweaker

On Gnome, I've only ever really needed Rounded Corners, to make sure all windows had a consistent look and feel. But that's just me as I don't usually customize things a whole lot.
Are you using vanilla Gnome? No dash to dock?
Well, at the moment I'm running XFCE, but when I used Gnome it was the nearly vanilla version that came with Debian. But also in Zorin OS, I only added that one extension.

Huh. Interesting. So do the rounded corners go all the way around? In Zorin, the top corners are rounded, but not so on the bottom. Can you clarify? Thanks.
Yes, exactly, with this extension all corners became rounded. Some windows do have all four corners rounded, but not all of them. This... bothered me more than it should

Update:
Tried Rounded Windows, Burn My Windows, and Quick Settings. Ended up not going with these. But I could see how useful they would be to some. I did have fun playing around a bit with Burn My Windows, though. If anyone else still has a few more suggestions for extensions, feel free. Thanks to everyone; have a good one.
On my partner's Zorin I installed
Bing Wallpaper - which changes your desktop background wallpaper to Bing's image of the day. It was icing on the cake for her after switching from Win10. The joke is that it gives far better control than on Windows to eg stay on a previous day's image.
On mine:
Grand Theft Focus - Removes the 'Window is ready' notification and brings the window into focus instead.
Notification Banner Reloaded - Configure notification banner position and animation to your liking
I've just installed Rounded Corners following @zenzen suggestion. This too somewhat bugs me.
