Reduce processor performance

(1) FYI, I also have version 0.72, its the only version I'm aware of.

(2) I don't shutoff my computer everyday, but if I did, I would just launch the GUI APP, and redo my input.

(3) I keep the APP open at all times, after applying my input, and just keep it minimized, this seems to work the best.

(Conclusion) I really wish developers, would keep their Linux APPS updated, last update was 2019, before the pandemic. Thats how it is in the Linux world I'm afraid, and I don't see that changing anytime soon, without cash incentive.

I have an old HP Compaq nc6120 and I tried 2 things that reduced the fan noise a little. First of all I put a 3-fan cooling platform under the computer and then, since I wanted to test my disassembly skills , I cleaned the factory cooling system. For me cooling platforms only provide a little fresh air  (perhaps cooling by a maximum of 2℃), but removing the dust accumulation from the factory cooling system filter was definitely better, it was practically clogged with black dust . After all, removing the obstruction to allow air to flow where it's needed is better than blowing air at the back of the computer .
