By mistake I made some settings and now I cannot see the desktop icons viz zorin, brave browser, files icon , etc . The desktop is clean with only background image. I am unable to manoeuvre or shut down . Is there any way out

Can you open the terminal with CTRL+Alt+T
and enter
"sudo reboot"
here? Perhaps it helps. If after reboot still is no desktop, open terminal again and enter
"sudo apt install --reinstall zorin-os-lite-desktop"

"sudo shutdown -h now"
Tell me how to uninstall the os completely from hdd. And I . will install zorin os with my pendrive
When You want install only Zorin on Your Machine, you can start the USB Stick with Zorin on it and during the Installation, choose the ''Erase disk'' Option. Then it will completely wipe Your HDD. All on it will be deleted. Or do You have a dual-Boot System?
