I thought I'd contribute a bit, at least, this works on my PC.
Ok, I have dual boot set-up on separate drives - Win10 (offline) and Zorin. The initial problem was mentioned in a previous post regarding the PC reusing to show anything on the screen when resurrected from Suspend. I thought I had found a solution to this, but it came back. I looked at Fats Start etc but this was still switched off.
But what I noticed was that I have a Windows program that runs in Wine. If I Suspend when this is up and running, the PC will not come out of Suspend. If it is not running (or more likely, if Wine is not running), it will come back from Suspend.
Just thought I would mention it to everyone here in case it helps some people.
