Rhythmbox and CMUS not playing MP3s, files work in VLC

Hi everyone. I am running Zorin OS 17.3 on a ThinkPad e480. Recently I moved my 60gb music folder onto my thinkpad since Zorin OS became my daily driver. I've loved the experience, but recently my MP3 files have stopped playing audio in both Rhythmbox, CMUS, and in the Gnome Music app. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling, as well as restarting my pulse-audio.

Strangely enough, the files work just fine when using VLC, uploading them to a webapp and playing via Brave, and all other audio sources work fine. I've ran a few Windows games through WINE and the audio worked there as well.

Not sure what to do here, so I'd appreciate any advice on going forward.

Thanks

I'm not sure how, but this worked! Maybe changed the audio player forced something to restart? Either way, this is resolved. Thanks!
