Running nekoray on zorin 18

good morning guys, i am new to linux and zorin distro, so i have little knowledge about it.

at first i am using nekoray 3.26 for internet connection, it makes my connection to internet better due to the bad service in my town, whatever.

after initializing and connect a server at tun mode it asks for password 3 times, and works for only a while i do not no but it nearly 10 to 20 minutes and losing connection, but it works on windows perfectly.

so if anyone can help?
and if there any laylist on youtube to know more about zorin, because as you know it is another world differs more than windows

I did a search and found the most likely culprit:

NekoRay's default behavior tries to "hijack" your DNS in a way that Zorin's system-level DNS refuses to allow. This causes the connection to work for a second, then "stall" or time out.

  1. In NekoRay, open Preferences -> Basic Settings.
  2. Find DNS Settings.
  3. Uncheck "Enable Sniffing" (this is the #1 cause of stalls on Linux kernels).
  4. If using TUN mode, change the DNS strategy from "Asis" to "PreferIPv4".
