Screen brightness control

If you are using the Cinnamon DE there is an app you can install that lets you adjust everything like brightness, color balance and gamma. Here is a link to my thread I posted earlier today about Qredshift.

On the LM forum I just learned about an APP for the Cinnamon DE. It is called Qredshift. It is similar to Redshift that comes with LM20.3 and probably other DEs. Qredshift lets you make adjustments to the color temperature and other settings of your screen. It really works great for those of us that are older and have had cataract surgery. Making the screen warmer and reducing the Gamma makes it much easier to read text on the screen for me. You can install it by going to the Applets menu …
