On the LM forum I just learned about an APP for the Cinnamon DE. It is called Qredshift. It is similar to Redshift that comes with LM20.3 and probably other DEs. Qredshift lets you make adjustments to the color temperature and other settings of your screen. It really works great for those of us that are older and have had cataract surgery. Making the screen warmer and reducing the Gamma makes it much easier to read text on the screen for me. You can install it by going to the Applets menu of your Cinnamon DE. After it is installed you will have to enable it and then it sits on your task bar where you can easily access it to adjust your screen. You do need to remove the original Redshift APP to prevent conflicts.
