Screen doesn't dim

With this setting the screen doesn't dim. If I set blank screen to 5 minutes, then display goes off after 5 minutes of inactivity and the system locks. I had to re-enter my password.

Try changing the "Blank Screen" to a time.
eg, 15min's or to test maybe 2min's,

If your display does not support brightness adjustment by the OS, the screen does not dim.

Zorin menu > Settings > Privacy > Screen Lock > Automatic Screen Lock and/or Lock Screen On Suspend
