Screen doesn't turn off when brightness is lowered all the way

My old OS (Pop!_OS) would black out the screen when the brightness is lowered below the "minimum".

ZorinOS however lowers it to say 10% and then stops.

How do I replicate this in ZorinOS 16 Pro?

try this
sudo su -c "echo 0 >/sys/class/backlight/intel_backlight/brightness"
and then click brightness keys to high it when you want to power on the screen
