Well, you're definitely good on the fwupd version front (1.9.29). So, you shouldn't need to worry about the ppa.

You could try downloading and installing 20241101 manually with:

Hi i am not sure if is related but i got the boot configuration update back and this happening in ubuntu and now in ZOrinOS 17.3 Pro too. This errors also in terminal.

This is certainly upstream of Zorin, but I imagine the Zorin brothers know who to contact far better than I do. For ~1 hour at least, attempting to update, whether by the Software Updater or APT has failed. The software updater returns a poorly advised instruction to check Internet connection. At the moment there is a problem with the ubuntu server.

I am experiencing very slow down load of linux firmware update via Software Updater yesterday and again today. Maybe ubuntu server is still slow.
