This is one of my primary complaints about many Gnome softwares; they are too specific and simple.
Gnomes Browser Epiphany is very similar. It is an excellent and very simple browser, yet is so simplified as to be rendered nun-functional for todays user.
I have compared it to the Etch-a-Sketch of browsers.
Gnome-Boxes is a very simple VM, yet it lacks the capability of any other VM, with the user stuck at the basic screens unable to perform any advanced tasks.
Gnome-Software store is very simple and basic, yet the moment there is a problem with an installation, it is non-verbose and gives no options for the user to troubleshoot its vague error messages, much like Windows OS does.

I use as little Gnome Software as I can. And as gnome pushes more for their software to be integrated into Gnome-Shell, separating Gnome from the GnuLinux modular free open source software standards, the less any of us will be able to use it.
