What theme are you using ?

Lately I've been using MSFT Surface wallpapers. Some have black in them that go with dark mode.

How did you changed the Wallpaper (and Theme?) of the Login Screen?

I use the whitesur GTK theme and a macOS wallpaper.

In the theme folder there is the option to open a terminal and then type the following.

sudo ./tweaks.sh -g

and

sudo ./tweaks.sh -g -b "mypicture.jpg"

this changes the login background and theme

the selected wallpaper must be in the same theme folder

There are many other options that can be changed: GitHub - vinceliuice/WhiteSur-gtk-theme: MacOS Big Sur like theme for Gnome desktops

Ah, okay. It comes from the Theme. I thought that you maybe have set it up with a Program. And when You change Your Theme to another does the Login Screen Look changes to the normal Look automatically?

Just to add about Themes. If there were any Windows 7 Themes that you liked in respect of walls then these can be extracted as .theme works like a zip folder so can be extracted using an archive manager of your choice.

And you don't have to inhale cigarrette smoke to get a spot on your lung. My Dad had given up smoking a pipe for months before he was asked to clean the billiard room Windows in the upper part of the local Conservative Club, this was back in the late '60's. The window hadn't been cleaned in years, and was heavily stained with nicotine from cigar smoke. A few weeks later he was in bed with a chest infection. The GP (Doctor) came round and accused my Dad of smoking as he had found a spot on his lung. He was adamant he had not smoked for months. It was only after tge Doctor had left he remembered about the nicotine stained window.

Could be both. When you smoke it is bad for the Lungs. that mustn't be happen directly. But the Dirt on the Windows - if he had breathe that Stuff in - was a Point, too I guess.

Yes and the loginsound and logout sound takes me back to SuSE 9.3 Professional days! Q4OS is the only distribution that offers TDE as an option. PCLinuxOS also has one but it is a community spin not an official spin like Q4OS. Q4OS just has two DE's, Trinity and KDE.
